Understanding of Intersectionality and Anti-oppression
Life isn't the same for everyone. We all have different stories coming from different backgrounds filled with multiple factors of advantages and/or disadvantages. The approach I take to counselling emphasizes and supports an intersectional and anti-oppressive lens by allowing me to provide a safe and non judgmental environment for the client to tell their life story.
