2020-2023: For A Safer Space is one and only Canadian non-profit organization dedicating to provide accessible, affordable, and affirming mental health care and human rights related advocacy support:
⭐️ First organization in the world that delivered unlimited free mental health counselling, psychotherapy, emotional support and coaching sessions to people across the globe.
•Team of 350+ people
•Published 500+ education articles and videos combined reached global audience with millions of views
•Incubated 7 social innovation projects/org
•Established partnership with 70+ organizations (including universities in US (Ivy League), UK, Australia, Canada)
•Trained 150+ clinical interns
•Established various virtual support group chat with 3000+ community members in them
•Delivered 8000+ free mental health counseling, psychotherapy, emotional support and coaching sessions across the globe (2021-2023).
•Co-organized the largest Stop Asian Hate Rally in Canadian History (Founder Yujia Zhu was also one of the MCs at the event)
•Founder Yujia Zhu created a petition to ask Government of Ontario to include mental health care in OHIP and attracted almost 10K signatures. This petition was presented in legislative assembly in Canada
