About me
Everyone has unique challenges and needs; however, we all share the same need to feel heard, understood and supported. Simply put, when we are authentically seen and heard, the way in which we navigate our lives and it's challenges improves. It is important to me that I meet all clients with genuine empathy, honesty, and acceptance. I enjoy working from a strength-based, positive therapeutic approach, and I believe that as the client, you are the expert of your own experience. I have worked with a variety of different client age groups, cultural groups, and am open to anyone who may simply need someone to listen. My aim is to offer non-judgmental and open-minded insight and assistance in exploring whatever concerns you may bring to counselling.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree, a diploma in Behavioural Science from St. Lawrence and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from uOttawa.
