About Me
I am specializing in the treatment of adolescents and young adults. I primarily work with adolescents and young adults to address emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, interpersonal skill development, self-esteem, life transitions and relationship issues. My approach to psychotherapy is built on the foundation of the therapeutic relationship by providing a safe and non-judgmental place for exploring, listening and healing.
I am now a counselling student who studies at Yorkville University. Before that, I graduated from McMaster University with Bachelor in Psychology human behaviour and a graduate certificate at Mohawk college for mental health and disability management. I have education and experience in; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). I will apply a variety of therapeutic techniques to best suit the clients' needs.
