About Me
Hello! I am an MSW student at the University of Toronto, focusing on Mental Health and Health and Sexual Diversity. My interests are in narrative therapy, LGBTQ+ issues, life transitions, and psychoeducation.
My prior work experience as a care coordinator, group therapy facilitator, and crisis hotline counsellor has allowed me to work with folks from diverse life experiences. I approach each meeting with the mindset that we all carry unique and meaningful experiences that inform how we cope and move through current challenges. I take a strengths-based and client-centred approach when discussing life challenges and strive to work collaboratively to identify and establish goals based on the clients' needs and expertise.
Feel free to book a session with me if you would like to discuss how I may support you.

Understanding of Intersectionality and Anti-oppression
I view intersectionality as the role that our identities, our social locations, and our backgrounds have on the ways we make sense of and cope with life challenges. The approach I take to therapy emphasizes how all of us are the authors of our own experiences and how different cultural ideals may be helpful or unhelpful when navigating challenges.
